This online journal is dedicated to show friends and family the progress I am making on my Aquaponics Greenhouse. I have finished building out my system and am currently getting it up and operational.
Aquaponics is the cultivation of plants and fish in a recirculating environment. I plan to raise tilapia and use the fish waste to provide nutrients for a year-round vegetable garden. See the video and links below for more information.

Aquaponics refers to a food production system that couples aquaculture with hydroponics whereby the nutrient rich aquaculture water is fed to hydroponic grown plant, involving nitrifying bacteria for converting ammonia into nitrates. Want to know how to build an aquaponics system step by step?
