I have been on the road for the past two weeks, and the fish have really grown while I was away. I was a little worried about not being home, but the auto-feeders worked well and the family inspections did fine. I am hoping to set up a web cam and some other tools to manage things remotely at some point.
The seedlings have taken off while I have been gone as well.
Looking great! Isn't it exciting to see everything growing? My fish are ready to harvest, but I keep putting it off. It's just so much fun to see them boiling up to the top of the tank at feeding time.
So I was hoping you could help me. We want to put up a "real" greenhouse. Yours is awfully nice. Did you purchase the frames pre-assembled? If so, would you mind sharing your source? Thanks!
Hey Monday, I bought my greenhouse as a kit from BC Greenhouse Builders. See the link on the right side of my site. It is a very nice greenhouse, but it requires assembly. I had help in creating the base and in putting it together.
This online journal is dedicated to show friends and family the progress I am making on my Aquaponics Greenhouse. I have finished building out my system and am currently getting it up and operational.
Aquaponics is the cultivation of plants and fish in a recirculating environment. I plan to raise tilapia and use the fish waste to provide nutrients for a year-round vegetable garden. See the video and links below for more information.
